David Jaffe

serves as Principal of Jaffe Management Inc., a New York City based firm providing comprehensive management services and a headquarters office to associations and non-profits. In this role he works extensively with the Boards of Directors of his clients to help set strategy and implement the work of the Board and other volunteers. Additional responsibilities include: general management and operations of association activities for a variety of organizations, event and conference planning, managing major fundraising events including award shows and charity dinners, membership development, and volunteer management. Before starting Jaffe Management he served as the staff Executive Director of the International Association of Financial Engineers (IAFE) a non-profit professional organization dedicated to fostering the field of quantitative finance. Prior to the IAFE, Jaffe served as Director of Communications for the Senior Executives Association, a Washington DC based group supporting the interests of senior officials in the federal government. Jaffe started his career as a management consultant for government clients including the Department of Energy and the Office of Management and Budget.

Jaffe is the Vice President of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Governance Committee of Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center (LSNC), a settlement house providing services to the residents of Amsterdam Houses, part of the New York City Public Housing Authority. He is also involved in the mentoring program Streetwise Partners, which provides career training to low income adults. Jaffe received a BA in Economics from Georgetown University, a Certificate in Public Relations from the University of Virginia, and holds the CAE (Certified Association Executive) credential.

Kristin Darga

serves as a Program Manager for Jaffe Management's clients. In this position she manages the day-to-day affairs of client committees and Boards of Directors to support the implementation of their work. She brings extensive experience in fundraising and event planning for non-profits and small business marketing to Jaffe Management. 

Prior to joining Jaffe Management, Kristin owned a Marketing firm in Ann Arbor, MI, specializing in face-to-face marketing for small businesses and non-profit organizations. In this role she restructured, organized and executed an annual non-profit fundraising event which exceeded its monetary goal by 17%; organized grand opening events and promotions for Food Network award winner, Courtney Clark from Cake Nouveau, and liaised with media for the Ann Arbor Film Festival. Further non-profit experience includes the Ann Arbor Summer Festival where as a Development Associate she raised over $65,000 in event, corporate and individual donations and managed a 48-person volunteer committee. She also acted as Development Chair of the 2007 Governing Board of Growing Hope, a non-profit dedicated to helping people improve their lives through gardening. Her professional background also includes publicity with Columbia Pictures Marketing where she managed talent at press screenings, press junkets and red carpet premiere events and interfaced daily with publicists, journalists, producers, directors and agents. Kristin holds a BA in Communications, Arts and Sciences with a concentration in Journalism from Michigan State University.

Mark Murynec

has worked with Jaffe Management since its founding and for several years before at the International Association of Financial Engineers. He brings to Jaffe Management’s client expertise in a variety of capacities; as Membership Associate, Program Associate and currently as Program Manager. Mark has strategized with clients in transitioning to new membership software, streamlined and created membership databases and advised clients on membership retention practices. In the Membership Associate role, he focused on membership processing, renewals, and relations for both individual and corporate members. As Program Associate, he managed event logistics, acted as a liaison to corporate sponsors, and facility managers. He currently manages Women in Children’s Media, clients' websites, implements research projects and develops comprehensive improvements to all client membership structures. Throughout all of this work Mark has worked extensively with Boards of Directors and Volunteers to share best practices and to ensure their time is being used most effectively. Mark volunteers for the American Philosophical Practitioners Association as their Resource Manager, helping APPA run its events and keep their membership actively engaged. Mark holds a BA in Philosophy from SUNY Stony Brook and an MA in Philosophy from The New School. Mark also teaches courses in Ethics and Bio-Ethics as an Adjunct Professor of Philosophy at Molloy College.

Anya Chrystal

serves as a Program Associate for Jaffe Management's clients. In this role, she provides support to clients’ Boards of Directors and volunteer committees, manages evening seminars and multi-day events, creates promotional materials, updates clients’ websites, and maintains membership databases. Prior to joining Jaffe Management, Anya worked as the solo one-on-one meeting planner on the Corporate Access teams at UBS and then in a team setting at Goldman Sachs in New York City, coordinating strategic meetings between senior level executives and institutional investors during industry-themed conferences. Her teams were responsible for managing over 5,000 client requests and arranging over 7,000 meetings, annually. Before working in Corporate Access, Anya worked at Opal Financial Group where she handled all the logistics for finance education conferences. Anya holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Bucknell University.

Alison Hines

serves as a Program Associate for Jaffe Management's clients. In this role, she assists with membership communication, creation of newsletters and promotional materials, website updates, event planning services, and client database maintenance. Additionally, Alison provides logistical support to clients’ Boards of Directors and volunteer committees. Prior to joining Jaffe Management, Alison worked for the AOL Corporate Events team in New York City. Her team was responsible for executing over 200 events per year ranging in size and scope from annual corporate participation in the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, TX and the NYC Pride Parade, to client-centered events celebrating AOL’s 25th Anniversary, to internal events such as a global employee volunteer day. Additionally, she served as an Executive Assistant to AOL senior management during her tenure with the company, including the President of AOL Media & Studios as well as the Executive Creative Director of the AOL Design Studio. Alison was also the Operations Manager at the New York Kids Club, a children’s enrichment facility with six locations in the New York City area, where she managed a client base of over 3,000 families. Outside of Jaffe, she is involved with the non-profit organization International Theatre and Literacy Project. Alison holds a B.S. in Secondary English Education from New York University and a New York State Teacher’s Certification. Alison also has a degree in Deaf Studies and is currently pursuing certification as an American Sign Language (ASL)/English interpreter.

Kirsten Teasdale

serves as a Program Associate for Jaffe Management. In this role she assists with database maintenance, the creation of newsletters and promotional materials, membership communication, event planning and preparation, website updates, and client stewardship. Prior to joining Jaffe Management, Kirsten worked at the Conference House Association, a small museum and membership organization that is part of the Historic House Trust of New York City. In her role as Education Director she revamped the museum’s educational offerings, coordinated a team of volunteer tour guides, planned events and programs, curated exhibits, successfully applied for over $20,000 per year in grant funding, collaborated with the Board of Directors, and managed daily office operations. She has held internships with other cultural nonprofits such as the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and the Royal College of Physicians, and has worked as a paraprofessional with the New York City Department of Education. Kirsten brings to Jaffe Management experience with fundraising; collections management; outreach; and program development, volunteer management, marketing, and delivery, including extensive work creating exhibits and presenting educational programs. She has a B.A. in History and American Studies from the College of William & Mary and an M.A. with Merit in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom.

Georgia Hodge

serves as the bookkeeper for Jaffe Management. She has over ten years of bookkeeping experience working in both the private and non-profit environments. Recent work includes working with the National Association of Women Artists as well as the American Artists Professional League. Georgia holds a BS in Accounting from the City University of New York.
